Is a grinding noise associated with tire seperation?

Ok my driver side tire began to seperate and bubble sunday to the point I was lucky I didn't have a blow out. Anyway though I would say a few weeks before everytime I turned hard enough into side I heard a screech, that would stop after the car was was not turning. Please tell me this is related.
 
There is a big difference between a Grinding noise which you first stated and then you called it a screech.WTF is it?
Tires will screech with a ply separation.
Brakes grind.
 
screeching or grinding would be brake pads or power steer fluid low or belt slipping and not related to a bad tire
 
sounds like ur power steering belt is slipping. Make sure it is tight and not worn or cracked. Put some soap on it, will help for a while
