Is a synagogue needed to worship God in Judaism?

answer: No, but it does enrich one by being part of the community, part of the tribe. Judaism can be practiced totally at home but you won't hear the shofar blown, you won't be there cheering Esther with others or sharing the solemn time of Yom Kippur.

Te answer is no , most of the rituals can be done at home, also synagogue itself is a substitution for the original Jewish temple,
