Is an Eighteen yr old couple going on vacation unsupervised too young ?

My bf and I (18 and 19 yrs old) are really looking forward to go somewhere sunny this winter vacation. We live in NJ and we are planning on visiting Florida for four days or so......the only thing is are we too young to be going unsupervised? His parents are on board but I have not told my family since I know they'd freak out.

Please give me some advice. I really want to know what is the appropriate thing to do .

well only if your not married yet, but if you already are then it shouldn't be a problem
