I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has been in the shop since April 14th when I got run into.
The part that holds the passenger airbag into the Jeep is the part that is on back order and the body shop will not release the Jeep until this part is properly installed in the Jeep. There is no way to get the part from a junkyard or a wrecked Jeep. I was first told by the body shop that Chrysler said they were going to run the production line to make a number of the same part on June 11th. There are 29 of this same part on back order at this time is what im being told and im 8th on the list. Now I am being told it will be July 22nd when they are going to start production of the part. I was just seeing if anyone else is waiting so long for a part for a Jeep or from Chrysler!
