Is anyone ringing the bell for the Savation Army this holiday season? and why?

I always wanted to do this...had issues with Corp. getting their mits on it and wondering if the money is used for good and not sticky fingers...but something I feel I want to do.
Will you bring your kids? What do you want to teach them from this?
