is dish soap antibacterial?

i got my septum peirced on my own (parents dont kno) and i wanna keep it clean. i saw your supposed to use sea salt but i dont have any :P) they say anti bacterial soap helps and i wanna kno if i can just use dish soap (it says it gets rid of bacteria on your hands...is that the same as anti bacterial?) idk im 15 have no money and cant exactly go up to my mom and ask for something to clean my septum since she was against it all along. please no negitive comments

If it doesn't actually say antibacterial, it's not. All soap removes some bacteria, after all. Sea salt is just a coarser salt, so you could probably use Kosher salt; it's pretty coarse, too. I wouldn't go putting dish soap up there. Call the place where you got it done and ask if there are any alternative ways to keep clean. Don't let it get infected. Your mom will be super upset if you get sick. You will eventually have to tell her, btw. Hope that works out for you. :)
