I'm Christian, and I have never ever drunk anything with alcohol.

Drinking is mentioned all through out the Bible. Even Jesus used to drink. It seems that it is only wrong to get drunk. However, I'm afraid I might like alcohol too much if I ever try it, so I rather not trying it.

A friend of mine is a Mormon. He doesn't drink caffeine. This is weird for me. I can live with no alcohol, but I can't imagine having to live with no soda.

If drinking alcohol is kinda of acceptable in the Bible.

Why is drinking something with caffeine a sin?

Mormons follow teachings in the Book of Mormon which was written by an obviously mentally deranged individual :crazy eyes:which has filled their faith with bizarre of the wall teachings ,some of which directly contradict the Bible  which they pretend to follow.

Used in moderation both coffee and wine have been scientifically proven to have beneficial effects on the body and the Bible actually recommends the drinking of wine. However some people are susceptible to alcohol addiction

especially if that problem exists in any family members or if they are experiencing severe depression, and for them it's important to avoid the use of any alcohol including wine. :applause:
