Are there similar safety rules that hunting while moving don't have?
Would you be sitting/standing in the blind waiting for the goose like waiting for the clay disks in the shooting range.

PLEASE ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS AND BE SPECIFIC. THANK YOU =D
Goose hunting is probably funner, but are the safety rules the same?

Also is goose hunting safer than hunting on the move?

I wouldnt compare hunting from a blind to skeet or trap. At the range, you know where everything is going to come from (within reason) and everyone is behind the firing line. Even in a blind, you have to hunt, the goose (or duck, etc) dont just wander within range like a video game. There are calls, decoys, even picking the correct area. As for safety, the basic principals are the same ( the big 4,etc) with the added issue that other hunters not in your party may not be aware of you. I dont think hunting is unsafe to begin with. Its the idiots with thier surplus rifles and $40 walmart scopes that shoot at every twig snap they hear that scare me. I would say that hunting from a blind is just as dangerous from that risk.

I only know of 10 safety rules for operating a firearm. They are the same where ever you go. Most places where you hunt do not have anyone enforcing safety rules. I normally don't encounter any other hunters when I am hunting, other than the other hunters in the hunting party, but I do not waterfowl hunt anymore.
Edit: The geese don't show up when you yell "Pull".
