He loves it but i'm worried about the caffine. Also, some website about tea says that green tea is worse for you than black teas and causes kidney stones and gout. I've always been told it was so good for you...

the caffiene will probably hurt him in the long run, it's been theorized but not proven that large amounts of caf. will cause hyoperactivity later on.

Otherwise green tea is better then black tea simply beacuse green tea contains antioxidants and black tea does not. as for kidney stones that is only true with iced tea and I do not think it matters if it is green or black.

Green tea is no different then black tea.... When a tea plant makes tea they simply use less heat during the drying process to make green tea and more heat to make black tea.

Um. Green tea is good for adults. Caffeine in large amounts is bad for kids. ESPECIALLY TODDLERS. In most cases, a cup of tea has more caffeine than a cup of coffee. I've done the experimentation in labs to KNOW - it's just a different type of caffeine. Chocolate has caffeine too. Think about giving a toddler a hersey bar instead of the tea. It's the same difference.

Also, you better be ready to work out because it'll make them super hyper. Kids react differently to caffeine than we do. You never know if they'll burn out or how quickly it WILL damage their liver and kidneys.

green tea has caffeine in it so probably not. unless you get decaf but then i don't know
