Is he joking around or is he sincere?

Ok, so this guy(Brett) in my chemistry class, keeps asking me if I like these other two guys in that class(Danny and Dallas)... I don't know why though, he keeps asking me, if I want him to hook me out with one of them. Why is he doing this, I don't understand? He's always talking about Danny and I and how we would make such an awesome couple... but why?
