Is he too shy or just not interested?

I asked a guy to a movie recently. He said yes and we had a good time. Since then, he's been more friendly around me in school, but he hasn't asked me to go out again. I know that he's a bit shy when it comes to girls but since I asked him to the movie, shouldn't he know that I like him? And if he was interested wouldn't he do something about it? I don't know whether to give up or ask him out a second time.
 
ask him to be your boyfriend.. hes just being shy. if he didnt like you he wouldnt want to go out again.
 
The same thing happened with me. I told a guy we hardly see each other and needed to hang out, so we decided to go to lunch together. It was great, we had fun, etc, but after that for at least a month he never invited me anywhere we just texted and saw each other in school. But he finally I guess got the courage to ask me to hang out and now we do it all the time. I'm sure he is just shy and doesn't have the courage to ask you, or doesn't think you'll want to. Just wait a little, do not pressure him.
