i think it's funny that killing a buck from what? 300 yards away and maybe in a tree, considered real hunting. i mean people still hunt with spears in some parts of the world. the bow and arrow, i get as real hunting. i know hunting with a rifle requires lots of skill and endurance for the weather but a rifle seems like an unfair advantage against antlers, claws and teeth. it doesn't seem as sporting like a bow and arrow would be. and i'm not opposed to hunting, deer tastes very good fresh, but modern weapons taints the true nature of the hunt. it makes it impersonal.
