Your more likely to incounter a prof. asking for a certain program that is only available on a laptop.Also, Laptops are much easier to type with, taking notes and such is much easier on buttens than a touch screen than, take my word for that.If you feel your laptop just isn't that good in general and want it to feel new when You go to college get a pen drive put your music and stuff on it. Than clear everything you want off and put that stuff back on. or just go through it in general.Suming up- no not recommended, laptop runs faster.
