When I do running/ jogging on the treadmill, I am only able to do about 10 to 20 minutes which burns (according to the computer) about 150 calories.
If I speed walk I can do it for over an hour without taking a break which (according to the computer) burns around 300 calories and more.
Now, I know that the computer on the treadmill is only an estimate, but clearly I am able to burn a lot more when I speed walk rather than running although running makes me break out in a sweat a lot quicker and pushes my heart rate up a lot.
So which should I do? Am I really able to burn around 300 calories just by walking a bit fast?
Please do not show me ads because I am not interested in that.
Everytime I post a question about exercise and losing weight, I get bombarded with loads of people promoting all sorts of products!
