Is it effective to eat a healthy breakfast directly before you life weights

in the morning? i am 6'2", 202 lbs and have been running a lot the past 6 weeks. during that time i've lost 25 lbs and have started circuit training. My goal is to lose another 10-15 lbs, lose body fat and gain muscle.
 
you should eat a light, well balanced (some protein with carbs...hey a whey shake is sufficient and easy) before you loft and then have a healthy and large breakfast after. it is a bad idea to lift on an empty stomach but if you eat a large meal before lifting weights you will feel sick and perform poorly
 
Yes it is. Not right before you work out maybe 15-20 minutes before so that your body has some time to digest the food. But if you eat whole grains and protein yes lots of protein eggs are great, you should be well energized for your workout. Also eating protein after a strength workout helps you build muscle.
