they keep asking questions about things that are common knowledge....trying to discredit it...also I wonder why they ignore physical evidence and turn to imaginary evidence..how can christians expect to win arguments with stuff they made up?

is it the result of christian homeschool??

I'm all for asking questions, even ones you might deem stupid, but I think you're talking about the "questions" they ask not because they want to learn, but because they want to act like there's no answer to it. One of those questions being "If evolution is true, when will rats turn into humans?"

When I see Creationists struggling with science, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Usually I get the look on my face one would get if they tasted something really bad and were wondering whether to spit it out or swallow it.

Yes, it is funny but scary at the same time. Speaking of Christian homeschooling, they have their own textbooks that leave out anything that contradicts the bible.

I just find it frustrating. I wont speak for all Christians, but I can tell you my personal experience. I tried to explain evolution to my 17 year old sister after she looked shocked that I told her I 'believed' in it. Like it was a religious philosophy or something. When I asked her about it she couldnt even explain what evolution was. I suppose maybe ignorance and sometimes willful ignorance?

yes, indeed it is funny. whenever a real gem shows up on Y! answers, i show it to my friends.......

but i believe that there are some christian activists who DO use their heads... it would be nice to have a debate with one sometime!

well, I was brought up christian. I no longer follow it however can honestly say that as a young child I did believe it. As I got older I began to look at the evidence, although the evidence was strong against christianity I still struggledd to disbelieve something which was a core belief since a young age. This is the reason people will struggle with it.

It's funny that they can't do evolution like the muslims who reproduce at greater numbers...

Oh right... atheists have less produce than even the christians.

no we do not struggle with evolution

we do not accept lies as the truth as other people do

our evidence is not imaginary but comes from the mouth of scientist them self

no its the result of having god and knowing the truth regardless of what theories scientist come with that often contradict each other.

Creationism theory was started by people who cannot understand science and are too embarrassed to admit it. So they created this lovely fairytale called "The Bible" instead.
