Is it imperative, that all 4 holes are soldered on a PL-259/UHF connector?

I'm soldering it onto a large cable, and because of it's location, would make it extremely difficult to rotate the cable to solder all the way around it.

Do you know if the 4 holes are mainly for added strength, so it doesn't get pulled apart from stress or weight, or does they have something to do with continuity purposes?

NOTE: There will be no weight or anything that'll put stress on this connector. Can I get by with soldering two of the holes?
 
No, all four holes do not need to be soldered - just make sure there is a good solder connection between the coax braid and the outer shell of the connector. The center conductor should be soldered to the center pin too - that connection alone provides a lot of strength to the connector.
