...some tension within Judaism? I asked a question about if Orthodox Judaism had a negative view of Reform Judaism (which doesn't even imply tension, actually, it asks IF there is tension) and then it was implied that I was "insincere" about Judaism. How does this make sense? Is Judaism all about looking at everything through rose coloured glasses, and never, even for a moment, being allowed to even INQUIRE about a possible negative aspect of Judaism?
Doesn't a sincere search for spirituality in life require an honesty, and an actual weighing of the good and the bad of the choices before you? I am getting really sick of every single thing I ask being twisted by certain people, who are proving themselves to be, from what I've learned, very un-Jewish, in their complete willingness to judge their fellow man, and hold spiteful feelings. I admit to not being as knowledgeable about Judaism as many people, but I do know that Hillel said that you shouldn't Judge your fellow until you are in his place, and if you think you even know what my place is by reading my context-less posts on the internet, you are mistaken.
