Is it okay to have two dreamcatchers in one bedroom?

Okay, So I've already had one of the dreamcatchers in my room for almost 2 years now, and my parents went on vacation to Gorigia and came back and got me a new one from down there. I don't know if it's okay to have 2 of them in the same room at the same time, and i also don't know that if it's not, how do i "Properly" disgard the old one because i have a strange great respect for them. I've had one since i was very young but my parents always jut threw them away in the trash and to me that doesnt seem right.
