one eyed Scottish idiot? Jeremy Clarkson was presenting a live Top Gear in Australia and commented on the fear shown when the Aussie PM made his speech about the state of their own economy. Jeremy said "In the U.K. we've got this one eyed Scottish idiot, he keeps telling us everything is fine and he's saved the world, and we know he's lying but he's smooth at telling us".
What will the BBC make of that then?

Helen - It is clear where this question stems from

As much as your loyalty to Margaret Thatcher may have been her daughter made racist comments at work.

You used to own your own company or be a director - if two of your employees came to you and said that during a break in the staff break out area one of their co-workers made a remark that they deemed racist (describing someone as looking like a Golliwog) you would have had to have taken action. And if you didn't those employees could have taken you to an industrial tribunal in the UK and they would have been able to sue your Company and would have won.

The BBC did not sack CT - (she was not even an employee) but following her refusal to apologise they decided not to invite her back to the one show. And that was the correct move.

Incidentally - two years ago a young woman also made a racist remark and didn't have her TV contract renewed by Living TV - Did I miss the bring back Jade Goody campaign - or was she right to be sacked because her mum was not a hero to the Daily Mail - racist, homophobic right wing supporters.

WOW - hellcat - calling me a soft lefty jez my man well that is hard - if you see me why dont YOU try and teach me the right way?

Jeremy Clarkson spoke nothing but the truth so no harm there. He did however make a fundamental mistake, as he failed to call him a feckin liar.
