I live out in the middle of the wilderness, and due to that, I've been cursed with Satellite internet for the last 9 months. After making quite a few calls to both Time Warner Cable and Verizon, I learned that our closest cable line is only .4 miles away, a serious let down to me. I then checked in with Verizon, and learned that they were attempting to add DSL down our street, but later abandoned the project. I'm a gamer, and use the internet frequently for watching videos and downloading/uploading files, and satellite is just not cutting. So I'm wondering if there was a way I could convince Verizon to continue their operation, or is there is another option (pretty sure Wireless won't work, there is hardly any reception). Detailed answers are GREATLY appreciated, I'm good with computers, but I have no CLUE why I cannot obtain internet (other than cable).
Thank you.
Thank you.
