A few details about myself. I dipped for 5 years, quit for a year and a half. Realized I missed it and took a pinch and got right back into it, and eventually quit 2 days ago.

Here's the thing, I know I can quit because I've done it before - but I really, really enjoy dipping on a different level than just being addicted. I like dipping at a ballgame, or golfing...there are certain times I just feel that dipping is a great pastime and experience. Is it possible for an addict to just lower the amount of times they do it? I wouldn't mind dipping once or twice a day, I just don't want my schedule and life to revolve around it. Has anybody out there had the willpower to accomplish this? I'm not going to put in another dip anyway until my addiction is once again over....withdrawals are pretty crippling and I don't want to go through this again. I just want to enjoy a pinch or two.
