When my terminally ill daughter finally dies, I want to remember in the most fashionable way imaginable: a human leather jacket covered in glitter and rhinestones.
Leather is just tanned and treated hide, so of course it is possible. I wouldn't recommend wearing the coat, though, as human skin (especially young skin) is considerably more delicate than that of an animal, making it easy to damage or rip. You want to preserve such a precious memento of your daughter.
However, rhinestones and glitter on human flesh? Yech! I cannot tolerate such a crime against fashion. With the lighter tan hue of flesh, you definitely want a fine fur lining around the collar fashioned from her hair (Assuming her illness hasn't robbed her of her hair already). I suppose a few rhinestones around the cuffs would be tolerable, but definitely nyx the glitter, girlfriend! Perhaps a fine image on the back made in the style of a tattoo would look much nicer, hmm?
