Is it possible to install a 4g network chip in the iPhone?

It's a bit absurd that every year, Apple intentionally releases a worser product to entice it's impatient audience in order to goad them into buying the 'better' thing the next year.

The big rumor is that Apple will now finally release an iPhone with 4G LTE access. Yes, there aren't so many 4G towers at the moment, but technology always catches up as Apple leaves iPhone 4 owners to bite the dust.

So, this phone + internet bill is shit expensive and I feel somewhat cheated in the deal.

So, the inevitible question. Is it possible to modify and install a 4G chip into an iPhone and activate the networks to enjoy higher speed internet access?

No, as Apple does not sell aftermarket antennas or chipsets for you to replace it with, and your current phone's firmware would not be able to properly drive them nor would its clock settings be correct to make such connections.

Keep buying them, that's how Apple makes money.
