Is it possible to put my t-mobile SIM card into a at&t KRZR phone?

I have service with t-mobile but I found a new phone but I need some sort of Subsidy code or something?? Is it possible to get this from my provider to use the new phone?

you can put it in, but in order to call the KRZR needs to be unlocked so it will work with any sim card.
