Is it possible to transfer banned iPhone apps from one friend to another?

With great apps such as Handy Light (undercover tethering app) and MiTube (downloading videos directly from YouTube) getting pulled quickly after there release, I was wondering if it possible to transfer it from a person who already has it on their computer to mine, ESPECIALLY if it has been removed from the App Store. Let me know! Also any websites that keep you on top of when these type of apps come out would be great.
