Is it realistic to have a martial arts club?

My friends and I want to start a martial arts club and a Kendo club at school but we werent sure if that was a realistic idea. I have some martial arts experience but my friends have none. We really REALLY want to have one but the other probem is we dont have a kendo dojo in our city. if it helps we live in Chillicothe, OH.

Im not sure about the kendo club if their are not kendo teachers in your area. However the martial arts club has a better chance. You can get a teacher of martial arts to hold classes or even maybe have an open martial arts classes where other martial artists of different systems can come and train and the teacher may supervise.
