Both girls knew going into this living situation that my cat would be living with us. Had I known my roommate intended to get a cat, i probably would not have moved in at all. I knew my cat would be upset with the new addition, but i did not think she would react by completely hating me.My roommate is away right now, and i just got back from a 4 day trip myself. I went to cuddle my cat and she refused to purr and completely stiffened up. I know this is not because i was away, because i&#039;ve returned from being away from her for 3 weeks and she greeted me just as warmly as ever. I sent my roommate a message saying that if my cat doesn&#039;t get back to being herself in a week or two, then we need to figure out a different alternative. I don&#039;t think it is fair to me or my cat that her cat destroys our 3 year long bond. What do you guys think?</blockquote>
