I have a 4.0L Ford Ranger and I am swapping out the exhaust. I have some rusty exhaust manifold hardware bolts that I have tried to saw and drill and cannot get them off. I need to have the new system on this afternoon because I am going out of town at 6 PM. There is a body shop about half a mile away. What are the dangers (other than obnoxious noise) of driving down there with no muffler to have them remove these bolts and then driving back to install the new system?
