I'm back in Minnesota for what's most likely my last summer break of college ever. I go to college on the east coast, and will probably be living there from September on.
I'm still good friends with a girl back home. We kinda knew each other in high school, and became pretty good friends through summer work.
I really do like hanging out with this girl. This girl asked me out on what I think is a date (hiking/picnic, just the 2 of us). Is it unethical to take her up on it if all I want out of this is to just be friends (hopefully with benefits)? I really don't want to get caught up in a long distance relationship, especially since I'm currently planning to not come back to the midwest again anytime soon.
How would you handle this?
