I met a guy online. We are both 20. We both live in the U.S,but I live on the west coast and he is on the east coast. We have been talking for a while and we both like each other. I trust him and feel like he is a safe person to be with. He is in the military and when chat on webcam he is always in his room thats on the base and I've met his room mates and what not and they are always in the background. So, it seems like a safe situation. We both really want to meet each other. At first he was going to come here, but I want to actually go there because I have been planning to transfer to a university over there for a while now, when I am done with my pre reqs, so i figured it would make more sense for me to go there. I would be able to stay for about 4 days. It's kind of expensive to go, but I feel like it is really worth it, and he said that he would help pay for it. I would have to save up my money first and I would be able to go in about 4 months. Do you think this is realistic to do? What are your thoughts on the whole meeting someone online, liking them, meeting them for the reason of possibly having a relationship with them?

Give it a try. You have to take risks in life and.this is not really a big risk.
