Hey there. Well, for the past year my basketball goal has been to dunk. Right now I am about 5'10 1/2". I'm 16 years old and can grab rim from a standstill. But my running jump is not much better. I can only dunk something small, like a softball. I jump off two legs, for jumping off one is very uncomfortable to me. I'm just wondering, since I heard that jumping off one leg gives the best results, if I should start trying to jump off one leg. What to you guys think? Thanks y'all.

It's all to do with genetics and muscle fibres. Some people will find it easier to jump off two legs as they get more power that way and others will find it easier to leap off of one leg. The way I see it is, 1 foot for distance and 2 feet for power.
