Is my Laptop new or refurbished?

I bought a laptop and it was supposed to be brand new but I have my doubts and I thinks it's refurbished. How do I know if the laptop was used before. It looks brand new but is there any way to find out it was used before by someone else?
 
Yes there is.. If you bought it from a store that is not well known or a store like laptop depot it is usually a Refurbished laptop... If you bought it from Best Buy Future Shop Walmart it is new..
