hey everyone whos willing to help,
i recently brought a royal python from a pet store about 3-4 weeks ago.I have alll the right equipment and the nessasary hides, decoration, branches ect. and he was fine a couple of days ago and i saw him come out for water and to bask under his lamp but now its been about 3-4 weeks i have not seen him come out of his hide atall even to drink so i was just wondering if he may be coming up for a shed or something (however i have not seen cloudy eyes or agressive behavour) and i also forgot to mension that when we got him the pet shop owner said to feed him on a wednesday (i got him on a monday) and ever since then we have still been trying to get him to feed... we have tried putting just one frozen mouse fuzzie in and leaving it for him to take, soaking the mouse in beef stock to give a smell of to tempt him,and even braining the mouse to give another tempting smell of to him. but none of theese methods have worked and he wont eat either.
so he is not eating or coming out of his hide i dont think PLEASE HELP!!!
im a budding herpetologist and really dont want to fail at keeping reptiles, ive done everything it said on the internet and from what people have told me WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???!!! AND IS HE OK????
