Is political tirade too much like children arguing?

I think that the backlash for using too much negative campaigning will be that less and less ppl will vote, because they'll just refuse to listen to negative hate speech. In that case, the only voting public will be the crazies that DO stay behind and put up with the hate ranting.
 
"you suck!" "no, YOU suck!" politics any more all together is like 9th grade. People hear what they want to hear, spread gossip, and call names. Too bad none of us ever realized we all have to live together no matter what so we should make the best of it instead of bash the other.
 
Your joking right? Even children can be reasoned with. Not going to happen here.

Politics just like religion is poison. I've seen many people go from really liking one another to becoming enemies as soon as politics was brought up. I guess being mature and being tolerant of other people's views is the key to civility in our society, but civility seems to have taken a backseat in politics today more then ever before in this country's history. This is just my opinion of course.
 
Yes! I never imagined when I was young that I would grow up and learn that people in their 60's and 70's acted less mature than I did when I was 13.
