We are in a long distance and she hid me from her ex for good reasons. I didn't understand it so I acted like a d*** for the last few days I visited her, and it really got to her. When I went back to my city, I clinged to her too much for the first week because I missed her. She started being distant from me. Then we talked and she told me that she wanted things to go back to normal but not right now because she wants space.
Three days into it, she sent me a message saying that she misses me. Two days after that, I told her I miss her and we had a short convo. We then started talking a little, but then she started ignoring me again. We had a talk on the phone and she said she still wants space. I broke up with her because I told her that she has no time for me. She said if we can't be together, she still wants to be friends but I said I can't do that because I know deep down I will always love her. She told me that even though we'll be friends, things will be the same except for the "i love you's" but she said she still does love me.
Fifteen minutes later, I talked to her on the phone and I told her that I'm making a mistake and I don't want to break up with her. She said she doesn't want to either, but right now she doesn't want to talk to me. She still wants her space. She told me that I acted like a di** when I was with her and she said that it felt like that was the true me. I told her it wasn't and that I just felt insulted. I told her that I'll leave her alone and let her have her space, but I made plans to go see her in June (not confirmed) but I told her that if she doesn't want me to come, she has to tell me in April.
So what should I do? Just give her space? How much time? How do I make her miss me? She's always on Skype. Should I just not go on Skype? Will that make her wonder where I went?
*Today I put as my status "I feel so used right now" and it had nothing to do with her. She tried asking about it but I ignored her. If she wants space, why is she asking about my stuff?
*Her birthday is going to be on the 28th of March and I want to send her a present and call and say happy birthday. Is this appropriate?
