Glory Hunting 2 a whole new level? .
Just I notice a lot of people in our neighboring section seem to support different country's to the one their from.

Don't get me wrong when Ireland didn't qualify for the World Cup I cheered on Spain due to putting some bets on but I would never support a different Country!
I don't mean if your family comes from there, I mean for example your American and beside to support Brazil.

Well not really. I mean I was born in a different country then the one I live in. I support the team from my birth country (but since they do tend to suck) I support my grandparent's team which I am quiet passionate about but if say those teams were to meet I'd cheer my birth country's team.

Now if you say you're an Italy fan or a Spain fan because they won the world cup then that's silly.
But like for Brazil and Holland, etc. If you ADMIRE their football I see nothing wrong with that. I admire Holland which causes me to cheer for them when not playing the team I support

Depends.

If they don't support England it's probably because they just hate the players, not that they're totally unpatriotic. Still, I think they should still support their national country because it's not so much about the players.

You can really tell a glory-hunter when you see one. They're just supporting a different country to feel different, get attention, and feel better than everyone else.

In my opinion yes. I have no problem with people whose family come from another country supporting that country as it will be something that is taught to them very often from childhood but supporting a better international team because your own isn't very good is really sad.

I live in England and support Ireland. Hardly a glory hunter.
