Is the anime Tsubasa Chronicles related to Cardcaptor Sakura?

I watched a couple of the OVA episodes of Tsubasa and am noticing similarities between it and Cardcaptor Sakura, is it supposed to be a sequel of Cardcaptor or something?
 
It's not a sequel. The characters of Card Captor Sakura were so popular at one point, CLAMP reused them for a whole different anime. Relationships are still pretty much the same, just different plots. A lot of other CLAMP characters are reused, besides Card Captor Sakura ones.
