I'm looking on eBay and I want to buy a Google Android Tablet, and I found this.
I read that its horrible. I'd rather not buy an iPad. It's just too much.

No, it is running an old OS that isn't even really designed for a tablet and not going to be updatable.

Though the iPad is more money, it is worth it simply because of the OS that is optimized for tablets right out of the box, and the consistent support with the same features as other tablet users on the same OS (simple because iOS is only on one tablet, but cross compatibility with iPhone, iPod and even OS X Lion is excellent and updates are concurrent).

This is where Google Tablet and so many others go wrong (HP Touchpad with discontinuation, lack of OS support, and fire sale, BB Playbook with no native BB mail service now switching Android for a limited number of apps, Kindle Fire with limited capabilities and an old OS).

The only Android Tablet I would consider is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 running 3.0... but for $20 more I can have the iPad. My brother-in-law, who is a serious Fandroid, had to concede that the iPad 2 was the better deal when he bought one for my sister.
