I'm jsut going by what these people said: http://www.labradoodle-breeder.com/

There's a Australian Labradoodle Breed Standard now??
They come in Standard, Medium and Minature as well??
What....
I thought they were a "mutt" do we recognize them now?
They sound like real breeders in this http://www.labradoodle-breeder.com/faq_labradoodles_rrl.html
So... Did I miss something?

Randall: I think you'd have dead or dying puppies.
I don't want a labradoodle, I was just curious about breed information and such.
Here are the "clubs"

Actually all these dogs are registered with the CKC, http://www.labradoodle-breeder.com/faq_labradoodles_reg.html

No, we don't recognize them as a breed now, and yes, you missed something. They still describe the parents of their puppies as Labradors (a breed recognized by the AKC) and Poodles (also a breed recognized by the AKC). But whenever you put together two different breeds, you get a mutt, mongrel, cross breed mixed breed etc. These people who advertised on that website are very full of themselves. They talk about breeding to the standards of the "Labradoodle" - - THERE ARE NOT STANDARDS, except maybe in their own minds. They make it all look very reputable and responsible - but you should not associate either of those words with these folks. They are selling mutts for big money, period! Don't be fooled. Unfortunately, many people are and will be. They have a first class website, and that's it!

ADD: Here's a quote from the CKC website under the FAQ section:

"Does Continental Kennel Club register mixed breed dogs, and if so, why?

Yes, Continental Kennel Club does register mixed breed canines. Owning a mixed breed dog is very common, and CKC offers services for these dog owners. Many mixed breed canines are rescued from shelters by responsible owners looking to provide a good loving home for these dogs, and Continental Kennel Club encourages registration of these dogs for a number of reasons. CKC registration services provide proof of ownership, allows the dog to participate in our performance events, allows CKC to record the accomplishments of the owner and these canines, as well as the many other benefits of CKC membership.
