I was listening to The Last Song I'm Wasting On You by Evanescence and it is really sad and beautiful but when you really listen to it, it seems as if she is singing her point of view then sings what the person hurting her says in response. For example
she sings ' Sickened in the sun
You dare tell me you love me
But you held me down and screamed you wanted me to die"
and then she sings what he says in response "Honey you know, you know I'd never hurt you that way. You're just so pretty in your pain" because I doubt that is what she would say to him.
Another part is where she sings "So run, run, run. And hate me, if it feels good." and that could be what he is saying and in response she sings "I can't hear your screams anymore....you lied etc"
This is just how i interpreted the song and I was wondering if anyone else thought it sounded like she was singing his response/perspective at times as well
