Is the samsung Gravity T better than the Gravity 3?

Well i get 50% off any samsung phone from tmobile. I wanted one that didn't require web access and I came across the Gravity T and the Gravity 3. I like the T because it's touchscreen along with a keyboard but I read that it has a lot of "lag". Well i was just wondering if anyone had any experience with either of these phones and what their recommendation would be.
