Is the T-Mobile G2x worth getting over an iPhone?

I currently have an iPhone 3GS jail-broken and unlocked for t-mobile. The iPhone has always been my favorite phone but unfortunately t-mobile internet doesn't work good on it so I'm unable to use the phone to its full capability. I also want a phone with a better camera and processor. I recently heard about the t-mobile g2x from a friend and from watching videos I really like the features it has and how it looks. I was wondering if it'd be a phone worth getting and also if its at all similar to the iPhone? I would think it'd at least be better then my 3GS because of the processor and camera. It'd also be way cheaper then buying the newest iPhone and trying to get it to work on t-mobile again. So yeah let me know what you think, thanks!

I would suggest getting the Galaxy S II it has 8mp camera and 1080p recording. its still considered one of the best phones in the world because of its speed and size and screen color accuracy. It is also getting updated to android 4.0(if u dont know what android 4.0 is, look it up on youtube its amazing)Your right the iphone sucks on t-mobile. I think it sucks all together because it has no freedom and its too small and it looks the same as it did three years ago. It doesnt has customization or as many features as android has.

the g2x might not get the android 4.0 update. Its a 50% 50% chance. I would get the galaxy s II hands down. The G2x is a tiny bit slower than the galaxy s II but still VERY fast. Both phones have a faster processor than the iphone and a bigger screen. The Galaxy S II has the best screen out of them all because it has deeper blacks and more brilliant colors than the g2x and the iphone 4s. Even though the iPhone does have the highest resolution. It is noticeable but not much. U should Go the T mobile and the apple store and play with all the phones u might wanna get. then decide for yourself.

The Galaxy S II has the Best camera available on a smartphone (arguably) and the Galaxy S II has better a features then the G2x. watch a video on the galaxy s II. then watch a video on the galaxy s II VS the iPhone 4s.

This is what i think you should do. The T-Mobile G2x is not worth getting!! In June, 2012 Apple is releasing the iPhone 5 which is a confirmed fact and T-Mobile will join Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon with the iPhone line up they didnt join with the 4S because they wanted to use there 4G capabilities on iPhones which the 4S didnt have so if you wanna wait just a few more months which will probably fly by you could get and iPhone at its full power! I have an iPhone 3GS and ive been waiting since March so im waiting until next June for iPhone 5.
