Is there a law preventing wheel width?

I want to buy some wheels for my 1970 El Camino, and I was looking at wheel sizes. I want to buy 15"x15" Cragar SS's. Are they too wide for legal street use in CA? And if so, is there a legal width limit? Any RELEVANT HELPFUL answers will be appreciated. Thank you very much for your assistance.
