If you're trying to burn dvd-r at 16 speed, there may be too many errors keeping it from playing. Try burning at slower speed. Some burners are at risk from playing 16x disks and the laser will burn out. They will freeze during playback until the drive is finally damaged.I like "Clone DVD" and "Any DVD" for copying DVDs. Those can be downloaded from"Slysoft.com". try those.</blockquote>
