Looking for a DVD-RW DL , dual layer, 8.5GB rewritable DVD. Is there any place I can get that? Would be extremely convenient.. I understand I might be required to get a separate DVD reader if it does exist.

If you could provide any information as to where i can buy some that would be great. Or if it even is on the market. Thank you!

No. There was an attempt to make such a disk, but it was never commercially viable and didn't make it to market. DVD+/-R DLs are more reliable and cheap enough to kill the RW DL version.

DVD+R DL (DL stands for Double Layer) also called DVD+R9, is a derivative of the DVD+R format created by the DVD+RW Alliance. Read more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-R_DL

Is google blocked on your computer? I typed dual layer dvd-rw media and got a couple of million hits
