okay i want an iPhone but i dont want at&t to be my carrier my friend said if i wanted one id have to get them i want t-moble preferably or sprint dose anyone know who else carries it
Not so fare. Apple signed an agreement with AT&T that the iphone would be exlcusive. For how long I have no clue but eventualy it might have other carriers.
Not yet, but watch the FCC's investigation on exclusivity contracts - they might mandate this - all but the "top" markets and "top" phones likely - for a certain time period an allowance might be made.
You can buy the iPhone from AT&T or the Apple Store without a contract, get it unlocked and get your service plan from T-Mobile. You can also check Ebay or craigslist for unlocked iPhones.
