Is there any customer rights if i by an Ipad?

I want to buy an ipad like most people for christmas, but there has been alot of rumours of the ipad 2 coming out in late Febuary and obvously i dont want to spend £500 on the ipad then 2-3 months later a new ipad comes out at the same price. Does the customer have any rights if you ask the apple store before you buy or is just luck.
 
PEOPLE do not realise you have customer rights on nearly everything you buy these days. job done!
 
1) Apple does NOT release stuff in February.

Apple always release stuff mid-year, around Apple Developer's Conference or MacWorld.

MacWorld is late January 2011

WWDC 2011 has not been announced, but it's usually in June.

So I would not expect a new iPhone or iPad until June.
