Is there any type of Tavor Tar 21 gun that i can buy for around my house?

I'm looking for a Tar 21 like gun that i could use for personal use.
Just getting prepared for any type of attack that could come.
EMP or otherwise i want to protect myself and my family.
Looking for a good trustworthy gun that won't Fail the time i need it.
Hope you guys can help.

Here you go... this is the closest you'll get to owning a TAR-21 (living in the USA), unless of course you can join the Israeli Defense Force :) Forget the EMP, if you get 25 killstreak you can get a tactical nuke...LOL

If you're Canadian, yes. If you're American...not so much. The TAR-21 doesn't fulfill the "sporting purpose" requirements of the USA's strict import laws. Canada's import laws on the other hand are very lenient...hence they have a whole mess of rifles, handguns and shotguns that aren't allowed into the USA.

Canadians have had access to the regular IWI TAR-21 for years; the Micro Tavor (MTAR-21) is expected to arrive sometime soon.
