Is There Any Way to Turn Off the Backspace Function on My Computer For Going

Back On the Internet? It's very annoying. I'm typing something and then I want to backspace on something, I don't notice that it's no longer selected inside the box I'm typing in, I hit backspace, and it goes back. It pisses me off. Seriously. If I want to go back I'm content to just hit the arrow for that I don't need this backspace button doing that since I never use it for that purpose anyways. Is there any way to reconfigur the key functions so that it won't do that?

um not really the solution to your problem but if you stirke the "delete" key it will delete whatever is selected instead of going "Back" as literally placed in the title "backspace"
